Austin Alexander Neil Eyres, 29, is charged with second-degree murder in the death of 39-year-old Chaneill Satow, who died after she was shot inside a townhouse on Valhalla Drive in May 2023. During a pretrial conference Thursday in Kamloops provincial court, Crown prosecutor Camille Cook outlined an updated witness list that includes an RCMP forensic biologist, a Vancouver police firearms expert and a medical expert. Police were called to the Valhalla Drive home shortly after 6 p.m. on May 21, 2023.
