A Porter flight from Victoria was cancelled on Aug. 6, 2026, when a child on board refused to sit down. Porter Airlines says a flight was cancelled after a child refused to sit down and put on a seatbelt in an airplane that was on the runway at Victoria International Airport. By the time the plane was ready to take off again, YYJ Airport’s runway had closed for the night, it said. The cancelled flight was an Embraer E195-E2, which seats up to 132 passengers.
