The British Limousin and British Charolais national calf shows will join the Borderway Agri Expo line-up, bringing the total number of national calf championships at the Carlisle event to seven. Laura Millar, director and head of farmstock operations at Harrison & Hetherington, said: "We are delighted to welcome both the British Charolais Cattle Society and British Limousin Cattle Society National Calf Shows this year. The overall champions from each breed section will compete in the Borderway Agri Expo pedigree calf interbreed championship. "By staging the National Calf Show at Borderway Agri Expo we are provided with the perfect platform to further promote the breed." The deadline for entries to all national calf shows is September 25.
