'Important milestone' reached for derelict site on Ipswich waterfront

Plans to regenerate the Western Gateway to the Ipswich Waterfront, which includes the St Peter’s Dock car park, the Paul’s Silo structure and the adjacent former Burton Son and Sanders building have progressed with the appointment of a consultant which was announced last week.

"There is still a long journey ahead, but this is an important milestone towards unlocking one of the most significant opportunities on our waterfront and taking another step towards completing its transformation.
"People often tell me our waterfront looks like it could be anywhere in the world.
