A dramatic conclusion to today's (9 August) Coronation Street has seen Gary Windass (Mikey North) head to the police station. AdFor months he's protected Sarah Platt (Tina O'Brien), leading to wife Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) believing that they were having an affair. Sarah finally arrested and then charged with murder. Her boyfriend Kit Green (Jacob Roberts), meanwhile, has made it his mission to try and find evidence which could lessen her sentence.
