The James Lambert Singers will perform three platform concerts at the Llangollen and Corwen Railway on Sunday, September 20, with performances planned at Llangollen, Corwen, and again at Llangollen during the return journey. The visit has special meaning for the railway, as one of its volunteers, Ian Bibby, is a member of the choir. The James Lambert Singers, founded in 1955, have entertained audiences across the UK and beyond for more than 70 years. Philip Hughes, secretary of the James Lambert Singers, said: "We are delighted to have been invited to take part in this event. The choir will perform using professional backing tracks and a modern portable sound system, creating a special musical experience beneath the station canopies.
