Laura Wilkinson has released "What The Ocean Keeps," recounting a love story set against the backdrop of the Kinmel Park mutiny, a largely overlooked episode of the First World War.
The novel, published on August 11, 2026, is available in both ebook and paperback formats.
The plot unfolds in North Wales in 1918, following the story of Alma and Jack.
Their paths cross in the shanty town that serves the camp, and their love becomes their only hope of escape.
The story is inspired by the true events of the Kinmel Park mutiny.
