The response from both potential sellers and shoppers proved strong enough for the community event to go ahead. The inaugural Connah’s Quay Jumble Trail will take place on Sunday, September 6, from 11am until 2pm, across the Wepre Park area (CH5). A jumble trail works like a community-wide car boot sale, with residents selling unwanted items from their own driveways or front gardens while visitors follow a map between participating homes in search of bargains. Organisers say it is designed to encourage people to declutter, recycle, meet neighbours and enjoy a day out in the community. Nicola is encouraging residents to invite friends, family and neighbours to get involved, with the hope of making the first Connah’s Quay Jumble Trail the start of a new annual community tradition.
