Steamship Shieldhall will return to Poole Quay this month for a five-day programme of heritage sailings, live music and a free open day. On Saturday, August 15, the historic steamship will sail towards the Jurassic Coast and St Aldhelm’s Head, with sea shanties from the Wareham Whalers accompanying the return journey. A second voyage on Sunday, August 16, will take passengers east towards The Needles, passing Old Harry Rocks, Brownsea Island and Sandbanks.
