Alexandra Hill, from Bournemouth, hopes her challenge will help fund an Earthquake-Resilient home for a veteran or widow in Nepal. Her goal is to raise £5,000 for The Gurkha Welfare Trust. Alexandra said: "I want to show that no matter how young you are, you can still make a real difference. 11-year-old Alexandra Hill from Bournemouth is currently undertaking a 350 mile bike ride from London to Paris to raise money for The Gurkha Welfare Trust (Image: The Gurkha Welfare Trust)Although her parents have been accompanying her on the journey, Alexandra has been responsible for navigating the route and carrying her own equipment. A close family friend said: "Amazing for an 11-year-old to undertake this and at her age to show compassion and gratitude for others.
