The Whitaker Open, hosted by The Whitaker Museum and Art Gallery, is open to artists from across the North West and aims to celebrate the breadth and diversity of contemporary art in the region.
Emerging and established artists alike are welcome to apply, with entries invited in a wide range of media, including painting, sculpture, textiles, ceramics, photography, printmaking, and digital or moving image.
A judging panel will select the works for exhibition.
Artists living, working, or studying in the North West can submit up to three physical works for a fee of £5 per piece, delivered to The Whitaker between October 1 and October 4 between 10am and 4pm.
Artworks can be listed for sale during the exhibition, with a 40 per cent commission applying.
