The Italian restaurant on Bank Parade is set to close on Sunday, August 9, as owner Aldo begins his retirement after 29 years serving customers in the town. Aldo Due, owned and run by Aldo, has been serving authentic Italian cuisine to the community for 29 years and is Burnley's oldest Italian restaurant. The restaurant leaves behind a legacy of family tradition and lasting memories in the heart of the town. Others recalled visiting the restaurant over many years, with one customer saying they had been going for more than 20 years. The restaurant has been a familiar fixture for Burnley diners and has built a reputation for traditional Italian food since opening in the late 1990s.
