Studio Charrette submitted the application to change the use of the building at Wood end Farm, in Reedley.
Under its previous use, the building was used for domestic storage associated with the adjoining residential occupation of Wood End Farm.
“The building has the appearance of a rural outbuilding/workshop and is visually read as part of the established built group at Wood End Farm.
“The surrounding area is characterised by open countryside, sporadic rural buildings and residential properties associated with Wood End Farm, Wood End Cottage and nearby buildings.
In addition, the applicant says that the re-use of an existing building, which is appropriate in the Green Belt.
