Reid, 23, of Scotland Bank Terrace, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to two charges of breaching a restraining order.
"It flies in the face of the restraining order when she is contacting him," said Mr Taylor.
"They then resumed a sexual relationship, and promises were made about sorting out the restraining order.
"Things broke down, and then she used the restraining order to her advantage and said she didn't want any further contact.
Mr Taylor said there was a procedure to follow to remove a restraining order.
