City officials said the clinic aims to cut waste, promote sustainability and keep more materials out of the landfill. The city and dozens of experts worked on everything from fans to a 3-D printer and other household items that needed repairs. The city said the clinic helped people fix hundreds of broken items instead of throwing them away.
