A dozen students at a Waterside school have completed a five-day character-building voyage along the south coast made possible by Forest charity Olivia Inspires. The teenagers from Holbury-based school Lift New Forest joined the crew aboard the Rona Sailing Project’s yacht Rona II, gaining new skills and confidence. The Lift New Forest students ready for a cuppa below deck on the Rona llOlivia Inspires supports New Forest young people aged 11 to 18, helping to fund opportunities in education, sport, the arts and Stem that might otherwise be out of reach. The school paid tribute to the Rona project’s skipper, mate, watch officers and volunteers for their patience and encouragement, and thanked Olivia Inspires for funding the trip.
