Despite a strong start, Duluth suffered its worst loss of the year, falling 24-5 to Thunder Bay. The Huskies struck first on Finley Spicer’s two-run homer in the second before the Border Cats jumped in front with a three-run third. The Border Cats totaled 22 hits on the night, while the Huskies managed just six. Marcus Pointer and Co. finished the 2026 campaign at 29-41, including a 13-22 mark in the second half, and placed fifth in the Great Plains East Division.
