DUBLIN, Ireland – Callum Walsh defeated Tyler Denny by unanimous 10-round decision at Dublin’s 3Arena. The West Midlands fighter, now 21-5-3 (1 KO), pushed Walsh from the off, using his physical strength on the inside to rough up the young Irishman. Walsh naively expected the referee to step in but Denny let his hands go and Walsh touched the canvas. Walsh then had Denny down early into the second, landing a peach of a left hand on Denny’s chin as he came in recklessly. Things were getting scrappy and the pair then traded blows in the ninth, Denny landed a left hand before Walsh returned fire with a right uppercut.
