She disabled the audio on a recent “Team Trump” TikTok that featured her song “august” from her 2020 album folklore. ​Several artists have slammed Trump-related accounts for using their music. Just last week, singer-songwriter Noah Kahan spoke out against the official White House Instagram account for using his song “American Cars. He left a comment on the video saying, “Would never approve of my music being used in support of you or this administration.”
