The Uptown Association, a nonprofit aiming to support development in the district, branded this year's event "Art on the Isles" to showcase the new location. After organizers canceled it altogether in 2020 and 2021, the fair relocated four miles south to the Bachman's parking lot in 2024 and 2025 as the renamed SoMi Art Fair. Stefani Pennaz of the Uptown Association estimated that 75,000 people attended on Saturday, with 200,000 expected for the weekend.
