CANTON, OHIO - Minneapolis and its most popular team played prominent roles on Saturday as Larry Fitzgerald Jr. grabbed pro football's brightest spotlight at the Pro Football Hall of Fame and swung it onto his family, his hometown and his first job as ballboy for Dennis Green's Minnesota Vikings. Larry Fitzgerald, center, a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026, receives his gold jacket by former Vikings wide receiver Cris Carter, right, in Canton, Ohio on Friday. And he even surprised me with the knock from the Hall of Fame. Larry Fitzgerald Jr., left, greets former Vikings safety and Hall of Famer Paul Krause during the Pro Football Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Canton on Saturday. "If you [three] were paying attention, you heard some fundamental themes in this speech," Fitzgerald said.
