Lang8/9/26A Saturday night police chase near the Eastern Iowa Airport has ended in a fatal crash. The Iowa State Patrol has released little information about the incident, other than the crash happened just after 9:15 as the suspect was southbound on Lefebure Road south of Fairfax, went through a stop sign at Wright Brothers Boulevard, then left the roadway. The driver had been eluding Linn County Sheriff’s deputies. No other details have been released at this time.
