According to The Hollywood Reporter , this year’s selection features 32 films from filmmakers around the world, combining established directors with fresh voices and several highly anticipated premieres. The festival also features several movies that premiered earlier this year at Cannes, along with Chris Rock’s latest directorial effort, Misty Green. The 2026 New York Film Festival will run from September 25 through October 12 at Film at Lincoln Center. With another strong collection of films on the schedule, the festival is once again set to highlight some of the year’s most talked-about releases.
