The National Urban Cooperative Finance and Development Corporation (NUCFDC) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) to strengthen cybersecurity and digital forensics capabilities across Urban Cooperative Banks (UCBs). Shah said NFSU has developed world-class expertise in cybersecurity and digital forensics and provides professional services to several banks. The partnership will enable even the smallest UCBs to access cybersecurity and digital forensic facilities at a low cost. Under the arrangement, cybersecurity, digital forensics, employee training and research facilities will be integrated through NUCFDC’s ‘Bank in a Box’ platform. Shah also highlighted the newly launched Security Operations Centre, which will provide UCBs with round-the-clock cyber monitoring, immediate guidance and security support.
