The Madisonville-North Hopkins boys’ golf team took third place in the Paducah Tilghman Invitational at Paxton Park on Saturday. The Maroons’ team score of 303 trailed only Owensboro Catholic (295) and McCracken County (299). Brennen Cole led Madisonville with a 2-over-par round of 73, which placed him eighth individually out of 108 golfers who finished the event. Owensboro Catholic’s Triston Logsdon was medalist with a 3-under 68. Paducah Tilghman’s Liam Stewart was runner-up with a 1-under 70.
