Baramulla, August 9: Baramulla Police have attached immovable property valued at ₹69.82 lakh in connection with a 2008 militancy-related case registered under provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and the Enemy Agents Ordinance, officials said on Sunday. According to a police spokesperson, the attachment order was issued by the Special NIA Court in Sopore in connection with a case registered at Chandoosa Police Station. The property has been assessed at ₹69,82,550, and a valuation certificate has been obtained, police said. Police said the action forms part of ongoing legal proceedings against individuals accused of involvement in unlawful activities and militancy-related cases. Further investigation in the case is underway, officials said.
