Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Miguel Cardoso has confirmed that Monnapule Saleng is currently training away from the club’s first team after repeatedly breaching the club’s rules and values. Cardoso revealed that Saleng has been separated from the squad after failing to report for a Champions League match and subsequently refusing to join the team’s training camp. Saleng was on the list to go to camp but he did not appear, or he said he would not go. Saleng joined Sundowns from Orlando Pirates but has struggled to establish himself as a regular since making the move to Chloorkop.
