Hyderabad: Hyderabad recorded the highest value of residential property sales among major Indian cities between 2021 and 2025, with homes worth ₹4,77,977 crore sold during the five-year period, according to CRE Matrix, a real estate data analytics platform. Hyderabad marginally surpassed Mumbai, where homes worth ₹4,51,811 crore were sold, while Bengaluru stood third at ₹3,92,047 crore. Gurugram and Ahmedabad followed with ₹3,30,964 crore and ₹2,91,765 crore, respectively. The strong performance of Hyderabad’s housing market has been attributed to the rapid expansion of IT, pharmaceuticals, defence and aerospace, food processing and global capability centres (GCCs). Credai Hyderabad president-elect Jagannath Rao Bandari said the report reaffirmed Hyderabad’s position as India’s strongest housing market by value.
