Iranian state-linked media has released a brief, undated video purportedly showing Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei in apparent good health, amid continuing uncertainty over his whereabouts and reports that he is in critical condition. The 12-second video, released by Iran's Mehr News Agency, shows Khamenei seated with advisers and officials and apparently discussing Iran's strategy amid its ongoing conflict with the United States. “Watch a new video of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei for the first time,” Mehr said while publishing the footage. The Iranian Supreme Leader has not made a public appearance since the US-Iran conflict began earlier this year, adding to speculation over his condition and whereabouts. The newly released video is likely to be viewed by Iranian authorities as an attempt to counter the mounting speculation, although its undated nature makes it difficult to establish when it was recorded.
