Local media recently reported that the KFA had allegedly arranged such entertainment for foreign referees and match officials during several World Cup and Olympic qualifiers and friendly matches played in 2011 and 2012, reports Xinhua. A parliamentary hearing was held last month, with former KFA president Chung Mong-gyu and Hong questioned over the national team’s management and the association’s operations. Chung resigned as KFA president as criticism intensified following South Korea’s World Cup campaign. KFAIn announcing his resignation, the former KFA president acknowledged both the successes and failures of his tenure.’
