Pune: Emcure Pharmaceuticals Ltd has announced key changes to the composition of its Board of Directors following the recommendations of its Nomination and Remuneration Committee. The Board also approved the appointment of Mr. Raghu Kumar (DIN: 01983106) as an Additional Director in the capacity of a Non-Executive Independent Director with effect from August 6, 2026. Subject to shareholders' approval at the ensuing AGM, he will serve as an Independent Director for a first term of three consecutive years. He currently serves as the Chairman and Independent Director of Emcutix Biopharmaceuticals Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Emcure Pharmaceuticals. The company also disclosed that Satish Mehta is the father of Whole-time Directors Samit Mehta and Namita Thapar.
