Hyderabad: Increasing patient inflow at Niloufer Hospital in Hyderabad has raised concerns among attendants over overcrowding, admission delays and inadequate basic amenities. Niloufer Hospital caters to patients not only from Hyderabad but also from several districts across the state, resulting in a consistently high patient load. He also questioned the practice of accommodating two patients on a single bed, citing concerns related to space and hygiene. Apart from bed availability, attendants highlighted issues related to sanitation, stating that overcrowding had affected cleanliness and overall patient convenience within the hospital. Responding to the allegations, Hospital Superintendent G. Vijay Kumar denied that the hospital was facing a shortage of beds.
