EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) - In two years, the $70 million investment into Downtown El Paso that is La Nube has served over 360,000 guests according to museum officials and hosted a Two Years of Discovery birthday event through its Nusenda Credit Union partnership Saturday to celebrate. International Children's Museum Award, one of three U.S. children's museums to do so according to La Nube Chief Strategy Officer Mick Martinez. This means the bunny mascot and traveling trophy 'Miffy' from the Netherlands made an appearance for a meet and greet while in El Paso before moving onto the next museum in September. Martinez said this doesn't just celebrate La Nube but also the children of El Paso and the power of imagination. Johnson even told ABC-7 La Nube appealed to her inner child as well.
