Our own Bryan Alvarez is reporting that Green was injured in her match on WWE SmackDown on Friday night, where she teamed with Tiffany Stratton in a loss to WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid. Alvarez wrote:“Chelsea Green was injured during the match on Smackdown last night. Lash Legend and Nia Jax also attacked Green and Stratton after the match. Green won the interim WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam 2026 Sunday in a ladder match that also involved Charlotte Flair, Jade Cargill, Lash Legend, and Tiffany Stratton. Green also wrestled on a WWE house show on Thursday in Fairfax, Virginia, teaming with Flair and Stratton in a win over Fatal Influence.
