During week three of Verano de Escandalo on August 7, 2026, it was announced that Dominik Mysterio will defend the AAA Mega Championship against El Grande Americano at Triplemania 34. Mysterio and El Grande Americano teamed up to face Perros Del Mal on Week 1 of Verano de Escandalo. On the August 7 episode, Mysterio also sat down for an interview with El Grande’s real-life girlfriend, Andrea Bazarte, where he addressed his upcoming title match at Triplemania 34. AAA Triplemania 34 is scheduled to be a two-night event.
