Even in the dog days of August, conversations over who should play and where during the upcoming season can reach a fever pitch. The most common conversation surrounds Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid and whether they should play together on the same line or not. One of the most popular solutions is to play these two guys on separate lines. But I will suggest that pairing 29 and 97 is one hell of a good weapon if it is more strategically deployed.
