A 12th place showing by freshman Landon Mitchell highlighted Lyon County’s day in the Paducah Tilghman Invitational Saturday at Paxton Park Golf Course. Mitchell carded a 4-over-par 75, finishing 1-over on the front nine and 3-over on the back. Trace Elliott was next for Lyon with an 88, Colton Gobin 90, Kinley Clapp and Cohen Wiggins 92, and Caveon Cain 98. Owensboro Catholic’s Triston Logsdon was medalist with a 3-under 68. Paducah Tilghman’s Liam Stewart was runner-up with a 1-under 70.
