After landfall, Dolphin is forecast to track westward before slowing over central and southwestern China and gradually losing strength, Wang Haiping, chief forecaster at the National Meteorological Centre, told state broadcaster CCTV. Zhejiang, Shanghai and Jiangsu have also activated Level III emergency responses.
