A man has been charged over an incident at a local shopping centre earlier today. About 11am, emergency services were called to the Caddens Corner shopping centre on O’Connell Street, Caddens, following reports of an assault. Officers from Nepean Police Area Command attended and were told a 20-year-old man had allegedly threatened two men in the car park while holding a pair of scissors. The 20-year-old man was detained by members of the public until police arrived and arrested him. The man was taken to St Marys Police Station and charged with two counts of ‘stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (personal)’.
