A vested quarter is trying to create instability in the country, said BNP Secretary General and Local Government Minister Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir yesterday, urging everyone to remain alert and help protect political stability. Fakhrul said BNP had taken responsibility for rebuilding the country after “its destruction under the Awami League government”. He urged doctors to make people aware of the importance of political stability and said Bangladesh needs to move forward under the leadership of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. He urged doctors to uphold their professional responsibilities with sincerity and dedication to ensure quality healthcare for people. Earlier, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and his wife Dr Zubaida Rahman inaugurated the doctors’ rally by releasing pigeons and balloons.
