The intensive program is designed to strengthen local poultry production and create new business opportunities within Sint Maarten’s agricultural sector. Combining classroom instruction with practical, hands-on training, the program will equip participants with the technical knowledge and business skills required to improve or expand a poultry enterprise. The training will be delivered by Jamaican poultry experts Winston Thomas and Dr. Gabrielle Young, who will guide participants through the complete poultry production cycle—from brooding and housing management to egg handling, processing, and packaging. As part of its commitment to making quality training accessible, SEDC is offering the certified program at a special registration fee of US$35, representing a 95% discount on the regular training cost.
