By county, 57.63% of Island County voters were approving the levy, while it was receiving 56.15% approval in Snohomish County. The primary race also featured the two candidates for 32nd District State Rep. In the race for 32nd District State Senate, incumbent Jesse Salomon, with 38.67% of the vote, was trailing challenger Ryu, with 40.91%. For U.S. Congress, both Democratic incumbents representing Southwest Snohomish County — 1st District Rep. Suzan DelBene and 2nd District Rep. Rick Larsen — were ahead in their respective races in early returns. The next set of Snohomish County results will be released at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5.
