The Olympic View Drive overlay project has been delayed and is now anticipated to begin in spring 2027, the City of Edmonds said Thursday. Due to the delay, crews will be painting lines along Olympic View Drive as well as filling in cracks in the road to winterize, so nothing deteriorates until repairs can begin. “We understand this news is disappointing and apologize for the inconvenience to residents, businesses and everyone who travels Olympic View Drive,” the news release said. As a reminder, the posted 25 mph speed limit on Olympic View Drive remains in effect. Drivers are reminded to obey all traffic control devices, reduce their speed, and use caution while traveling on Olympic View Drive.
