She was seeded 14th in the 100 back and 16th in the 50 fly. Open water aces Ginevra Taddeucci and Gregorio Paltrinieri have scratched their pool events entirely. She won both the 5k and 10k events, and she picked up a bronze in the 3k knockout sprint. Paltrinieri finished 3rd in the 5k, 4th in the 10k, and 4th in the 3k knockout. They were both entered in the 1500 freestyle where Taddeucci was seeded 4th and Paltrinieri was seeded 9th.
