The Yellow Tie, the highly-anticipated biographical drama starring Sean Bean and John Malkovich, has confirmed its UK release date. The real-life drama depicts the life of Sergiu Celibidache, a Romanian composer and conductor whose career took him across Europe. Billed as a "sweeping, sumptuous, generation-spanning biopic", the film has been directed by Serge Ioan Celebidachi, the composer's son. Though the biographical drama hasn't been widely reviewed, early assessments have been positive, with Shadows on the Wall calling it "fantastic". The Yellow Tie is released in UK cinemas on 9 October.
