Afternoon Tea Week: A cuppa could be doing more than you thinkSurvey suggests tea breaks may support wellbeing, stress management and healthier habits in the South EastA cup of tea could offer more than a few minutes of comfort, according to new research released to mark Afternoon Tea Week. Almost eight in ten (78%) people surveyed in the South East had never heard of tea bioactives. Tea was also viewed positively in relation to women’s wellbeing, with 59% agreeing that it can support women’s health. Experts suggest making the traditional afternoon tea break a regular 10-minute pause, ideally with an unsweetened cup of black or green tea and a healthier snack. Afternoon Tea Week runs from 10 to 16 August
