Martin’s Game of Thrones: The Mad King at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon. Set during the final years before the events of the novels, the play explores the history of Westeros and the events surrounding King Aerys II Targaryen, known as the Mad King. Puppetry and movement form a significant part of the production, with Nick Barnes and Finn Caldwell leading the work.
