— Two people from Colorado died Thursday in a two-vehicle crash near Deadwood.
The crash occurred at 6:27 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, on U.S. Highway 14A at mile marker 47, about 4 miles east of Deadwood.
U.S. Highway 14A was closed for approximately three hours.
The motorcycle driver and his 54-year-old female passenger, both of Frederick, Colorado, were not wearing helmets and sustained fatal injuries.
A 67-year-old male passenger, of Lead, sustained minor injuries, while a 59-year-old female passenger, also of Lead, was not injured.
