One of Kentucky's oldest state parks to get nearly $7M in upgrades next year

Pine Mountain State Resort Park is the latest in Kentucky's system to get a major facelift.
The effort is part of the larger network of upgrades going on at several Kentucky State Parks, including Jenny Wiley State Resort Park.
During the work, Pine Mountain will remain open and the on-site cottages will be rented.
Pine Mountain is one of Kentucky's first state parks, established in 1926.
Grace said Bell County is known for its outdoor tourism, between the state park and Cumberland Gap National Historical Park.
