As Universal begins early development on this Rebirth follow-up, they are now in search of a new director to take over from Gareth Edwards. Universal also posted a brief statement about Edwards’s departure, which states: “We had an incredible experience working with Gareth on Jurassic World Rebirth.” These other directors include Steven Spielberg (Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park), Joe Johnston (Jurassic Park III), Colin Trevorrow (Jurassic World, Jurassic World: Dominion), J. A Bayona (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom), and Gareth Edwards.
